On Monday afternoon, the Ibovespa was up 0.67% at 172,173.18 points, amid broad moves among the most actively traded stocks. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) extended gains compared to earlier readings and was the top gainer of the session, quoted at R$ 1.61, up 40.00%, while Braskem (BRKM5) posted the sharpest drop of the day so far, at R$ 4.75, down 6.31%.
Among other gainers, Yduqs (YDUQ3) stood out on the positive side, trading at R$ 8.88, up 12.83% intraday. Paranapanema (PMAM3) rose 7.69% to R$ 0.14, while Recrusul (RCSL4) climbed 7.14% to R$ 0.75. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) completed the list of the five biggest gainers, quoted at R$ 1.55, up 6.90%.
On the downside, in addition to BRKM5, which fell 6.31%, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was among the biggest losers, at R$ 0.41, down 4.65%, once again featuring among the main decliners throughout the session. Marfrig Global Foods (MBRF3) dropped 4.09% to R$ 18.74, while Arezzo (AZZA3) traded at R$ 14.57, down 3.76%. Brava Energia (BRAV3) rounded out the group of the five biggest losers at the moment, at R$ 18.15, down 3.46%.
Compared with the latest updates of this session, ONCO3 remained among the most volatile stocks: after having posted gains of 37.39%, 41.70% and 38.26% at earlier points in the session, the share was now showing a 40.00% increase, still the top gainer of the day. BHIA3, which had already been among the main losers in the morning, remained on the negative list, down 4.65% in early afternoon trading.
