In the 12:25 p.m. update this Monday, the Ibovespa was up 1.21% at 173,097.20 points, while shares of Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) extended gains to R$ 1.63, an increase of 41.74%. Among the blue chips, Petrobras (PETR4) was trading lower at R$ 41.88, a drop of 2.84% compared with the previous close.

Since the last bulletin for this session, ONCO3 has intensified its gains, moving from around +38% in the morning to +41.74% in the early afternoon, remaining the biggest gainer of the trading session. Paranapanema (PMAM3) was up to R$ 0.15, an increase of 15.38%, while Yduqs (YDUQ3) was up 11.82%, trading at R$ 8.80, after the company recently disclosed initial talks on a possible business combination with Afya. In the construction and engineering segment, Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) was trading at R$ 1.59, up 9.66%, and Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - CSN (CSNA3) advanced 8.98% to R$ 5.22.

On the negative side, Ambipar (AMBP3) posted the biggest loss of the session so far, quoted at R$ 0.15, a decline of 6.25%. Raízen (RAIZ4) fell 4.17% to R$ 0.23, while Brava Energia (BRAV3) was trading at R$ 18.14, down 3.51%. Braskem (BRKM5), which recently approved a request for out-of-court reorganization involving debts of about US$ 10.9 billion, slipped 3.35% to R$ 4.90. Among the highest-volume names on the index, PETR4 fell 2.84% to R$ 41.88, also ranking among the biggest losers of the day on the B3.

As a result, at the midpoint of the session, the Ibovespa remained in positive territory compared with the start of the day, when it had posted a 0.8% decline at the open and then a slight 0.19% gain in a previous update. Standout stocks on the buy and sell sides remained concentrated in ONCO3 and AMBP3, respectively, according to intraday data from B3.
