Midway through Thursday’s session, the Ibovespa was up 2.27% at 171,733.32 points, accelerating gains compared with earlier readings in the session. Among the day’s highlights, DASA (DASA3) was posting the biggest gain, quoted at R$ 2.56, up 11.79%, while Paranapanema (PMAM3) was at the opposite end, at R$ 0.13, down 7.14%.

Among the top gainers at the moment, in addition to DASA3, shares of Casas Bahia (BHIA3) were trading at R$ 0.45, up 9.76%, after already having led the gainers ranking in earlier reports during this same session. Gafisa (GFSA3) was quoted at R$ 0.23, rising 9.52%, the same percentage move as Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4), which was at R$ 1.61. Next among the gainers, Grupo Vamos (VAMO3) was trading at R$ 2.70, up 8.87% intraday.

Among the biggest decliners, Paranapanema (PMAM3) remained a negative standout throughout the session, now at R$ 0.13, down 7.14%, after already appearing among the steepest losses at the market open. Banco Mercantil (BMEB4) was down 4.28% at R$ 62.22. Braskem (BRKM5) was trading lower by 3.14% at R$ 4.94, while Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was at R$ 1.27, down 1.55%. Azul (AZUL3), in turn, was down 0.90%, quoted at R$ 19.82.

As a result, compared with earlier updates this Thursday, the Ibovespa extended its intraday gains and there was a change in the composition of the biggest movers, with DASA3 taking the lead among the gainers and PMAM3 remaining among the main decliners on B3 in the early afternoon.
