Midway through Thursday’s session, the Ibovespa was up 1.85% at 171,041.26 points, extending the gains compared with the last update of this trading day. Among the stocks, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) posted the biggest gain at the moment, up 17.07% at R$ 0.48, while Biomm (BIOM3) was on the opposite end, down 4.53% at R$ 6.11.

Among the top gainers on B3 up to 11:45 a.m., in addition to BHIA3, Gafisa (GFSA3) was up 9.52%, trading at R$ 0.23. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3), which earlier had already appeared among the session’s positive highlights, remained in positive territory, advancing 8.53% to R$ 1.40, but below the 18.6% jump seen in the previous update. Grupo Vamos (VAMO3) was up 7.66% at R$ 2.67, and Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) gained 7.48% to R$ 1.58.

Among the biggest decliners, Biomm remained the main drop of the session, falling 4.53% to R$ 6.11, a move similar to the 4.5% decline seen in the last update. Banco Mercantil (BMEB4) slipped 4.17% to R$ 62.29. In the sugar-energy sector, São Martinho (SMTO3) fell 3.09% to R$ 17.25, while Jalles Machado (JALL3) was down 1.26% at R$ 2.35. Enjoei (ENJU3) rounded out the list of the five biggest losers, retreating 1.30% to R$ 0.76.

As a result, the intraday picture of this session showed the Ibovespa up 1.85%, with the main positive highlights concentrated in BHIA3, GFSA3, ONCO3, VAMO3 and AZEV4, while BIOM3, BMEB4, SMTO3, ENJU3 and JALL3 ranked among the main negative pressures on the session so far.
