EcoRodovias (ECOR3) and its subsidiary EcoRodovias Concessões e Serviços reported this Wednesday, July 22, 2026, the signing of Amendment No. 24/2026 to Concession Agreement 007/CR/1998, which, as of August 1, 2026, converts the Piratininga toll plaza on the Rodovia dos Imigrantes (km 32) and the Riacho Grande toll plaza on the Rodovia Anchieta (km 31) into electronic toll gantries (free flow). The toll currently charged only in the seaward direction will be split equally between the new gantries in both the northbound and southbound directions.
The amendment also includes the investments needed to implement the new Dynamic Convoy system, which will replace the current “Convoy Operation” in situations of low visibility and heavy fog, in light of the future demolition of the traditional toll plazas, while the other plazas in the concession will continue operating under the current model.
Amendment No. 24/2026 also provides for contractual guarantee mechanisms, such as the establishment of a reserve account held by the granting authority, with measures for balance replenishment, as well as compensation in the event of user default and rebasing in response to revenue variations associated with the change in the toll collection method.
The document also includes the recognition of economic-financial imbalances arising from the investments required for these changes which, updated to July 2026 values, correspond to a net present value of R$ 264.7 million.
