Sendas Distribuidora, owner of the Assaí chain (ASAI3), reported this Thursday, July 16, 2026, that it plans to open 25 pharmacies by the end of 2026, to be installed in exclusive physical areas within already existing stores in the State of São Paulo. The company clarified the plan following a B3 inquiry about a story published on July 15, 2026.

According to the statement, the pharmacy installation project stems from legislative approval authorizing the opening of these establishments and is aligned with the strategic plan presented at the 2025 Investors’ Day, on November 18, 2025, and in the earnings presentation published as a Material Fact on February 11, 2026.
