Movida (MOVI3) reported net income of R$ 135.6 million in the second quarter of 2026 (2Q26), more than double the R$ 68 million result in 2Q25. The figure came in above the net income guidance range of R$ 110 million to R$ 130 million and 15% higher than the market consensus for the period.

In 2Q26, gross revenue totaled R$ 4.0 billion, with a highlight to rental gross revenue of R$ 2.6 billion, an increase of 21% compared to 2Q25. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) reached R$ 1.7 billion, up 22% from the same quarter last year, while EBIT topped R$ 1.0 billion for the first time, a 29% year-over-year increase.

The company also reported that its strategy remains focused on demand in the car rental segment, resulting in the sale of 19.4 thousand vehicles in 2Q26, with used-car EBITDA margin stable at 1%. The figures released are preliminary, unaudited and may be revised until the official earnings release.
