On Monday afternoon, the Ibovespa was down 1.25%, at 175,645.29 points, widening losses compared to earlier readings in the session. Among the highlights, Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) jumped 13.22%, quoted at R$ 1.37, while Gafisa (GFSA3) was among the biggest losers of the day, falling 7.94% to R$ 0.58.
Since the last update, AZEV4 extended its gains, moving from 12.40% to the current 13.22%, remaining the top gainer of the session. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) also appeared among the main gainers, rising 10.62% to R$ 1.25. Paranapanema (PMAM3) advanced 8.70%, trading at R$ 0.25, while CSN Mineração (CMIN3) gained 5.35%, quoted at R$ 5.51. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) completed the list of the five biggest gainers, up 5.33% at R$ 0.79.
On the downside, GFSA3 held its 7.94% drop, at R$ 0.58, after already featuring among the biggest losers in earlier readings of this session. Americanas (AMER3) fell 7.80% to R$ 3.78, while Mitre Realty (MTRE3), which had already appeared among the negative highlights earlier, retreated 6.31% to R$ 3.12.
Among the other intraday laggards, Raízen (RAIZ4) dropped 5.71% to R$ 0.33, and Casas Bahia (BHIA3) fell 5.41%, trading at R$ 1.05. As a result, the session remained marked by a decline in the Ibovespa and sharp moves in small caps, both among the day’s top gainers and biggest losers on B3.
