Mid-session this Monday (13), the Ibovespa was down 0.80% at 176,453.06 points, in line with the downward move seen earlier. Among the intraday highlights, Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) extended its gains, jumping 15.70% to R$ 1.40, while Gafisa (GFSA3) was among the biggest losers, falling 7.94% to R$ 0.58.

On the gainers’ side, Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) also posted a significant gain in this session, rising 11.50% to R$ 1.26. In the real estate sector, Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) advanced 5.45%, trading at R$ 2.13. CSN Mineração (CMIN3), which earlier was among the day’s top gainers, remained in positive territory, up 4.40% at R$ 5.46. Paranapanema (PMAM3) rounded out the group of the five biggest gainers, adding 4.35% to R$ 0.24.

Among the steepest declines, in addition to GFSA3, Banco Mercantil (BMEB4) retreated 5.51% to R$ 56.23. In the construction segment, Mitre Realty (MTRE3) dropped 5.11%, trading at R$ 3.16. Metisa (MTSA4) also appeared among the main losers, down 4.17% at R$ 46.00, the same percentage drop seen in WEG (WEGE3), which was quoted at R$ 44.57.

Compared with earlier updates in this session, AZEV4 intensified its upward move, jumping from 6.61% earlier to 15.70% at the start of the afternoon. Meanwhile, CMIN3, which had shown gains of 5.54% in a previous report, was now up 4.40%, still among the day’s top performers. On the downside, GFSA3, which had recently been among the week’s biggest losers, continued to fall intraday, with a 7.94% loss as of the latest data point.
