Mid-session this Wednesday, the Ibovespa was down 0.20% at 207,876.24 points, a weaker performance than in the previous intraday update. Among the day’s highlights, Romi (ROMI3) was up 5.46% at R$ 7.73, while WEG (WEGE3) was down 5.94%, trading at R$ 45.89.
Compared with the previous update, ROMI3 pared gains, which had reached 7.78% earlier, but it remained the top gainer of the session so far. In addition to ROMI3, the biggest gainers included Banco Mercantil (BMEB4), up 3.95% at R$ 83.15, Casas Bahia (BHIA3), up 3.50% at R$ 1.48, TOTVS (TOTS3), gaining 3.42% at R$ 43.51, and Auren Energia (AURE3), up 2.63% at R$ 15.60.
On the downside, WEGE3 deepened its losses compared with the previous intraday reading, when it was down 4.65%, and was the biggest loser of the session, at R$ 45.89 (-5.94%). Among the other decliners, Hapvida (HAPV3) was down 4.82% at R$ 9.09, Ferbasa (FESA4) fell 4.65% to R$ 6.35, Marcopolo (POMO4) dropped 4.44% to R$ 4.73, and Arezzo (AZZA3) slid 4.42% to R$ 25.97.
As a result, the Ibovespa remained negative intraday, while the moves in ROMI3 on the upside and WEGE3 on the downside continued among the main individual moves on B3 in this session.
