At the opening of today’s session on B3, the Ibovespa was up 0.27%, at 208,867.72 points, reflecting a slightly positive start to trading. Among the highlights in the first deals, Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) advanced 1.65%, quoted at R$ 1.23, while Braskem (BRKM3) fell 0.97%, to R$ 4.10, posting the biggest drop at that moment.
On the gainers’ side, in addition to AZTE3, Axia Energia (AXIA7) was up 1.58%, trading at R$ 60.40. Cambuci (CAMB3) came next, with a gain of 0.95%, at R$ 8.47. Among agribusiness-related stocks, BrasilAgro (AGRO3) was up 0.75%, at R$ 18.79, while Metal Leve (LEVE3) rose 0.64%, with the share quoted at R$ 39.08 in the first minutes of trading.
In the group of biggest decliners, BRKM3 led the losses, retreating 0.97%, to R$ 4.10. Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) also fell, down 0.38%, at R$ 2.64. Ser Educacional (SEER3) slipped 0.34%, trading at R$ 17.84, while OceanPact (OPCT3) was down 0.31%, quoted at R$ 9.66.
Among recent corporate news, AZTE3 remains on investors’ radar after Petro-Victory cut its stake to 9.48%, holding 3.79 million common shares after selling 309,500 shares. In the energy sector, Axia Energia, whose units trade under the ticker AXIA7, announced the redemption of class PNC preferred shares at R$ 58.72, with an October 21, 2026 record date and settlement scheduled for November 6, and also reported the redemption of 32 million PNC shares, in a R$ 1.9 billion transaction involving 47.78% of these shares.
At Braskem, FIP Shine came to hold 226.3 million common shares and 47.3 million preferred shares after a tender offer, reaching 50% of the company’s voting power. Helbor, in turn, reported that its board of directors recommended that shareholders accept HBR Realty’s offer, which calls for the company’s exit from B3’s Novo Mercado segment, and disclosed a PSV (Potential Sales Value) of R$ 356.5 million in the third quarter of 2026, down 25.6% from the same period in 2025, with launches totaling R$ 70.8 million in the quarter.
