At the end of Tuesday’s session, the Ibovespa closed up 1.57%, at 208,295.98 points. Among the highlights of the day, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) ended the session priced at R$ 1.43, up 20.17%, while Wiz Co (WIZC3) closed at R$ 7.27, down 20.02%, maintaining the reversal seen throughout the trading session. Americanas (AMER3), which had already been among the top gainers in previous reports, closed at R$ 6.99, an advance of 17.09%.
Among the biggest gainers on B3, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) consolidated its lead in the day’s ranking with a 20.17% rise, at R$ 1.43, above the +18.49% recorded earlier. Americanas (AMER3), which had climbed as much as 22.1% at one point in the session, ended with a 17.09% gain, at R$ 6.99. Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3) closed among the positive standouts, at R$ 3.10, up 16.98%. Magazine Luiza (MGLU3), which had already shown significant movement throughout the day, closed at R$ 13.54, with a gain of 14.45%, while Movida (MOVI3) ended at R$ 19.86, up 11.89%.
On the downside, Wiz Co (WIZC3) pared part of its losses compared with the more than 24% drop reported in a previous update, but still finished the session as the biggest decliner, at R$ 7.27, down 20.02%. Among the other losers, Ânima Educação (ANIM3) closed at R$ 5.18, a decline of 8.48%. Dotz (DOTZ3) ended the session at R$ 12.87, down 4.24%, while M. Dias Branco (MDIA3) closed at R$ 19.69, a drop of 4.18%. OceanPact (OPCT3) rounded out the list of the five biggest losses, at R$ 9.64, a 3.31% decline at the close of trading.
