At the end of Thursday’s session, the Ibovespa closed up 0.94% at 206,220.24 points, consolidating gains compared with earlier partial readings in the day. Among the highlights, Gafisa (GFSA3) ended the session priced at R$ 0.47, up 17.50%, while OranjeBTC (OBTC3) closed the day at R$ 6.63, down 4.60%.
On the positive side of B3, Gafisa (GFSA3) held the lead among the biggest gainers, closing with a 17.50% increase at R$ 0.47, extending the move seen throughout the session. Simpar (SIMH3) advanced 13.73%, ending the session at R$ 15.66, and Movida (MOVI3) closed at R$ 16.89, up 13.36%. Anima Educação (ANIM3) was also among the standouts, closing at R$ 4.69, up 12.20%, while Randon (RAPT4) closed at R$ 7.31, with a 10.59% gain.
Among the biggest declines of the day, OranjeBTC (OBTC3) posted the worst performance of the session, falling 4.60% and closing at R$ 6.63, after swinging more sharply during the session compared with earlier partial readings. Dotz (DOTZ3) dropped 4.09%, closing at R$ 11.50. Cury (CURY3) closed at R$ 31.20, down 3.32%, while Minerva (BEEF3) ended the day at R$ 4.45, a 3.26% drop. São Martinho (SMTO3) rounded out the list of the five biggest losers, closing at R$ 19.73, down 2.66%.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, the Ibovespa pared the gains seen in mid-afternoon, when it reached 207,389.29 points with an advance of 1.50%, and ended the day with a 0.94% gain. Gafisa (GFSA3), which at one point had risen 20.00% to R$ 0.48 at the intraday highs reported earlier, closed with a 17.50% gain at R$ 0.47. On the downside, OranjeBTC (OBTC3), which at one point in the session was down 5.32%, trimmed losses and ended the session with a 4.60% decline.
