In the 1:30 p.m. update this Monday (5), the Ibovespa was up 8.41% at 208,302.29 points, extending the gains in this session. Among the standouts, Banco BTG Pactual (BPAC11) was trading at R$ 84.04, a 27.29% gain, while Recrusul (RCSL4) fell to R$ 0.92, a 14.81% drop. Also among the biggest movers on the upside were B3 (B3SA3), Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3), EcoRodovias (ECOR3) and Magazine Luiza (MGLU3), while Suzano (SUZB3), Embraer (EMBJ3), Raízen (RAIZ4) and Méliuz (CASH3) were among the decliners.
Compared with the previous update in this session, the Ibovespa moved from 207,165.47 points (+7.8%) to 208,302.29 points (+8.41%). LJQQ3, which earlier had stood out with a 26.6% gain, remained among the biggest gainers, now quoted at R$ 1.95, up 26.62%. BPAC11, which was already among the top gainers, intensified its move and reached R$ 84.04, up 27.29%. Shares of B3 itself (B3SA3) were trading at R$ 24.10, up 26.84%, while ECOR3 was at R$ 12.45 (+25.88%) and MGLU3 was at R$ 9.56 (+25.62%).
Among the biggest losers, RCSL4 extended the losses seen earlier, deepening from an 11.11% drop to a 14.81% decline, at R$ 0.92. Suzano (SUZB3) was trading at R$ 41.64, down 6.11%, while Embraer (EMBJ3) fell to R$ 94.20, a negative move of 4.12%. At the same time, Raízen (RAIZ4) was at R$ 0.34, down 2.86%, and Méliuz (CASH3) was at R$ 5.11, down 2.85%. During the session, the index had already reached 209,113.18 points (+8.84%), with other stocks such as CYRE3 also featuring among the top gainers at earlier moments in the trading day.
In recent days, some of the names among the biggest movers have been impacted by corporate news. EcoRodovias (ECOR3), which was up 25.88% in this update, recently announced an out-of-home (OOH) media joint venture on highways, involving Eletromidia, EcoRodovias and Motiva, still subject to approval by CADE (Administrative Council for Economic Defense). Among the decliners, Raízen (RAIZ4), which was down 2.86% at R$ 0.34, had approved a set of measures for its recovery plan, to be submitted to an EGM (Extraordinary General Meeting) and special meeting on October 30, 2026.
