Around 11:20 a.m. this Monday (5), the Ibovespa was up 8.84% at 209,113.18 points, extending the upward move seen at the opening of this session. Among the day’s highlights, Cyrela (CYRE3) was up 25.29% at R$ 35.07, and Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) gained 25.10% to R$ 9.52, while Recrusul (RCSL4) fell 5.56%, quoted at R$ 1.02.

On the positive side, in addition to Cyrela (CYRE3) and Magazine Luiza (MGLU3), among the biggest gainers in the session were shares of Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3), trading at R$ 1.92, up 24.68%. Shares of B3 itself (B3SA3) rose 24.00%, trading at R$ 23.56, while units (certificates that bundle more than one type of security) of Banco BTG Pactual (BPAC11) were quoted at R$ 79.71, up 20.74%.

On the losing side, after Recrusul (RCSL4), Suzano (SUZB3) retreated 4.83% to R$ 42.21. Embraer (EMBJ3) was down 2.54% at R$ 95.75, while WEG (WEGE3) slipped 1.85% to R$ 50.50, after recently reporting a 3.3% drop in revenue in the first half of 2026. Among the major names in the mining sector, Vale (VALE3) was trading at R$ 71.40, with a slight negative move of 0.97%.

Compared with the start of the session, when the Ibovespa was up 4.3% and COCE5 was among the biggest gainers, the index extended its advance to 8.84% and came to have as the main highlights of the day the shares of CYRE3, MGLU3 and LJQQ3 on the buy side and RCSL4 and SUZB3 among the biggest losers.
