In the final stretch of Monday’s trading session, the Ibovespa was up 1.04% at 177,490.76 points, driven by the strong move in Casas Bahia (BHIA3), which extended its gains in this session and reached R$ 0.66, an increase of 65.00%. Among the blue chips in focus, Americanas (AMER3) was also among the top intraday gainers, trading at R$ 5.09, a positive change of 8.53%.

Since the last updates of this session, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) has intensified its upward move: after hitting R$ 0.61 (+52.5%) in the early afternoon and R$ 0.63 (+57.5%) around 3:40 p.m., the stock climbed to R$ 0.66 (+65.00%) in this new intraday snapshot, remaining the top gainer of the session. In the consumer and services sector, CVC (CVCB3) was trading at R$ 1.84, up 6.98%.

Other positive highlights of the day included MRV Engenharia e Participações (MRVE3), which ranked among the biggest gainers, quoted at R$ 5.57, up 7.32%, and DASA (DASA3), trading at R$ 2.68, an increase of 7.20%. These stocks made up the group of the five biggest gains of the session so far, alongside BHIA3, AMER3 and CVCB3.

On the losing side, Raízen (RAIZ4) posted the sharpest drop of the session, quoted at R$ 0.22, down 4.35%. Among other notable decliners, Triunfo (TPIS3) was trading at R$ 9.67, down 3.30%, while Rede D1000 (DMVF3) stood at R$ 6.31, a decline of 2.77%. OranjeBTC (OBTC3) was at R$ 6.93, down 2.53%, and Embraer (EMBJ3) slipped to R$ 92.91, a negative variation of 2.43%, rounding out the list of the five biggest losses of this session on B3.
