Around 3:40 p.m., the Ibovespa was up 1.01% at 177,433.04 points, maintaining the upward movement seen earlier in the session. Among the highlights, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was trading at R$ 0.63, up 57.50%, while HBR Realty (HBRE3) was down 4.73% at R$ 2.62, ranking among the biggest losers of the day.
In the top gainers of the session, besides BHIA3, CVC (CVCB3) was trading at R$ 1.85, up 7.56%. MRV Engenharia e Participações (MRVE3) was up 7.51%, at R$ 5.58. São Martinho (SMTO3) was at R$ 19.76, gaining 6.35%, and Paranapanema (PMAM3) was up 6.25%, quoted at R$ 0.17. These stocks made up, at the time of the snapshot, the group of the five biggest gains on B3.
On the negative side, after featuring among recent gainers this week, HBR Realty (HBRE3) was down 4.73% at R$ 2.62, as the biggest drop of the session so far. OranjeBTC (OBTC3) came next, quoted at R$ 6.83, down 3.94%. Azul (AZUL3) was down 3.19% at R$ 18.49, while Rede D1000 (DMVF3) fell 2.31%, trading at R$ 6.34. Espaçolaser (ESPA3) rounded out the list of the biggest losers, dropping 2.30% to R$ 6.81.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) extended the gains seen throughout the day: the stock went from a 37.50% rise in the middle of the session to 52.50% and now reaches 57.50%. On the downside, HBRE3, which had recently stood out in this week’s upward moves, appears this afternoon among the worst intraday performers on B3.
