As of 1:30 p.m. this Thursday (28), the Ibovespa was down 0.55% at 174,165.22 points, a move that follows the 0.35% drop recorded in the previous reading of this session. Among the stocks, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was posting the biggest gain at the moment, quoted at R$ 0.37 (+8.82%), while Recrusul (RCSL4) extended losses and was at R$ 0.35 (-28.57%), after earlier showing a 20.41% drop.
On the positive side, in addition to BHIA3, Portobello (PTBL3) climbed to R$ 1.57 (+6.80%), surpassing the gains seen in the previous highlights of the day. Triunfo (TPIS3) was trading at R$ 8.80 (+2.33%), Dotz (DOTZ3) was at R$ 9.98 (+1.84%) and Banco Santander Brasil (SANB11) was up to R$ 29.98 (+1.73%), making up the group of the five largest intraday gains at the time of the snapshot.
On the negative side, in addition to RCSL4, Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) fell to R$ 1.51 (-17.93%) and Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) retreated to R$ 1.35 (-12.34%). Among the other notable decliners, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was quoted at R$ 1.26 (-8.70%), while Grupo Pão de Açúcar - GPA (PCAR3) was trading at R$ 2.55 (-8.27%). These moves mark a continuation of the volatility seen throughout the session, with changes in the leaders among gainers and losers since the first hours of trading.
Compared with earlier reports in this session, Paranapanema (PMAM3), which had previously led the gains, left the group of the biggest intraday climbers, giving way to BHIA3 and PTBL3 among the main positive highlights of the day as of the time of the last snapshot.
