At the close of Monday’s trading session, the Ibovespa rose 0.51% to 171,906.72 points, in line with the positive trend seen throughout the afternoon. Among the session’s highlights, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) closed at R$ 1.51, up 31.30%, while Braskem (BRKM5) ended the day at R$ 4.74, down 6.51%.
On the top gainers’ side, ONCO3 maintained the lead already seen in previous updates, consolidating its close at R$ 1.51 (+31.30%) after having shown intraday swings of over 40%. Yduqs (YDUQ3) was also among the positive highlights, closing at R$ 8.91, up 13.21%. Usiminas (USIM5) closed at R$ 7.12, an increase of 8.70%, while Dotz (DOTZ3) finished the session at R$ 9.63, up 7.84%. Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - CSN (CSNA3) rounded out the group of the five biggest gainers, quoted at R$ 5.16, with an appreciation of 7.72%.
On the downside, Braskem (BRKM5) remained among the top decliners throughout the afternoon and ended the day at the bottom of the list, at R$ 4.74, a drop of 6.51%, repeating the negative highlight seen in earlier reads of the session. Marfrig Global Foods (MBRF3) closed the session at R$ 18.50, down 5.32%. Casas Bahia (BHIA3) closed at R$ 0.41, a decline of 4.65%, while Arezzo (AZZA3) ended the session at R$ 14.58, a loss of 3.70%. Brava Energia (BRAV3) completed the group of the five biggest losers, closing at R$ 18.15, down 3.46%.
With that, the session ended with the Ibovespa moderately higher, accompanied by sharp swings in specific stocks, such as ONCO3 on the positive side and BRKM5 among the main decliners, in a move that intensified throughout the afternoon until the close.
