Banco ABC Brasil (ABCB4) reported recurring net income of R$ 257.3 m in the second quarter of 2026 (2Q26), an increase of 11.8% compared to the R$ 230.2 m in 1Q26 and of 5.4% versus the R$ 244.1 m in 2Q25. According to management, the performance reflected a balance between portfolio growth, spread expansion, and maintenance of credit quality.
In 2Q26, annualized return on average equity (ROAE) was 14.3%, versus 13.5% in the previous quarter and 15.0% in 2Q25. The managerial financial margin before provisions totaled R$ 659.2 m, up 1.8% over 1Q26 and 9.1% compared to 2Q25, while the post-provision margin was R$ 579.3 m, an increase of 8.3% quarter over quarter and 10.3% in 12 months.
The expanded loan portfolio reached R$ 56.5 bn at the end of June 2026, growth of 3.7% in three months and 8.3% in 12 months. The Corporate and Middle segments, which serve companies with annual revenue between R$ 500 m and R$ 4 bn and between R$ 30 m and R$ 500 m, respectively, grew 11.1% and 28.7% in one year and came to represent 63.2% and 9.0% of the total portfolio. The balance of transactions past due over 90 days corresponded to 0.6% of the expanded portfolio, with a coverage ratio of 377%.
Fee income totaled R$ 102.8 m in 2Q26, up 16.1% compared to 1Q26 and down 9.0% versus 2Q25, with R$ 40.1 m from guarantees provided, R$ 29.1 m from investment banking, and R$ 33.6 m from insurance brokerage and fees. Personnel, administrative and profit-sharing expenses came to R$ 295.5 m, an increase of 1.2% quarter over quarter and 13.9% in 12 months, resulting in an efficiency ratio of 41.2% in the quarter.
The Basel ratio closed 2Q26 at 16.2%, versus 15.9% in 1Q26, with Tier I capital at 13.7% and core capital at 11.9%. In June 2026, the bank approved a new capital increase through the recapitalization of Interest on Equity (JCP – Juros sobre Capital Próprio) for the first half, a transaction that, on a pro forma basis, would raise the Basel ratio by up to 0.29 percentage point. Third-party funding totaled R$ 52.2 bn, growth of 0.9% in the quarter and 7.2% in 12 months.
