At the end of Thursday’s session, the Ibovespa closed down 0.46% at 176,723.62 points. Among the highlights of the day, Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) gained 9.32% to R$ 1.29, while Qualicorp (QUAL3) ended as the biggest loser of the trading session, falling 8.50% to R$ 1.40.
Among the top gainers on B3, in addition to AZEV4, Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) rose 9.23%, closing at R$ 1.42 and maintaining the gains seen throughout the session. Paranapanema (PMAM3) ended the day at R$ 0.32, up 6.67%. Terra Santa Propriedades Agrícolas (LAND3) finished the session at R$ 8.19, up 5.81%, while Recrusul (RCSL4) advanced 5.56% to R$ 0.57.
On the downside, after already featuring among the biggest losers in earlier readings of the session, QUAL3 widened its drop and closed down 8.50% at R$ 1.40. Hapvida (HAPV3) also ended the session lower, falling 7.37% to R$ 10.55. Profarma Distribuição (PFRM3) slipped 6.47%, closing at R$ 6.22, while Ambipar (AMBP3) declined 6.25% to R$ 0.15. TOTVS (TOTS3) rounded out the list of the five biggest losses, dropping 6.16% and ending the day at R$ 27.11.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, AZTE3 maintained gains close to 9% throughout the day, while QUAL3 deepened its losses toward the end of trading, moving from declines of around 7% to a drop of 8.50% at the close. Over the same period, the Ibovespa slightly eased the losses seen earlier, ending the session down 0.46%.
