At the open of today’s session on B3, the Ibovespa was down 0.55% at 176,578.29 points. Among the highlights in the first few minutes of trading, shares of Viveo (VVEO3) were up 3.08%, trading at R$ 0.67, while Banco Mercantil (BMEB4) was down 1.45%, quoted at R$ 58.93.
On the gainers’ side, in addition to VVEO3, shares of Schulz (SHUL4) advanced 1.33% to R$ 4.57. Banco da Amazônia (BAZA3) was up 1.02%, at R$ 61.62. Among the other positive highlights, Eucatex (EUCA4) posted a gain of 0.65% to R$ 21.77, and Bemobi (BMOB3) rose 0.51%, trading at R$ 23.68.
Among the biggest decliners at the open, after BMEB4, shares of Metalúrgica Gerdau (GOAU3) fell 0.94%, quoted at R$ 9.46. Rede D1000 (DMVF3) retreated 0.79%, trading at R$ 6.30. Next, Portobello (PTBL3) slipped 0.59% to R$ 1.69, while Locaweb (LWSA3) was down 0.53% at R$ 3.78.
Thus, in the first few minutes of Thursday’s session, the exchange showed the Ibovespa in negative territory and a mixed picture among the standout stocks, with VVEO3 appearing as the biggest gainer of the session so far and BMEB4 as the biggest loser.
