At the end of Monday’s session, the Ibovespa closed down 0.20% at 173,371.35 points, while shares of Recrusul (RCSL4) jumped 9.80% to R$ 0.56, and Gafisa (GFSA3) ended the trading session down 12.20% at R$ 0.36, standing out as the biggest gain and the steepest loss of the day on B3, respectively.
Among the top gainers, in addition to RCSL4, shares of Viveo (VVEO3) closed the session at R$ 0.60, up 7.14%. Enel Distribuição Ceará’s stock (COCE5) rose 5.93%, finishing at R$ 31.79. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) advanced 4.84% to R$ 1.30, while Unicasa Móveis (UCAS3) ended the day at R$ 1.25, gaining 4.17%.
On the losers’ side, after intraday swings already reported in earlier updates, GFSA3 deepened its losses and closed down 12.20% at R$ 0.36. CVC (CVCB3) was also among the main negative highlights, dropping 11.48% to R$ 1.08. Shares of Paranapanema (PMAM3) ended the day at R$ 0.34, a decline of 10.53%.
Rounding out the group of the five biggest declines of the session, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) closed at R$ 0.70 after falling 10.26%, while Raízen (RAIZ4) finished the session at R$ 0.27, down 6.90%. Thus, by the close of today’s trading, B3 saw the Ibovespa in negative territory, with a notable contrast between the top gainers, concentrated in RCSL4 and VVEO3, and the sharp drops in GFSA3, CVCB3 and PMAM3.
