In the final half of Monday’s session, the Ibovespa was trading slightly higher, up 0.08% at 173,844.82 points, while shares of Recrusul (RCSL4) were up 9.80% at R$ 0.56, and Gafisa (GFSA3) was down 12.20% at R$ 0.36, standing as the biggest loser of the day so far.
Compared with earlier updates in this session, Viveo (VVEO3) pared gains and is now up 7.14% at R$ 0.60, after having appeared earlier among the top gainers with a move of more than 8%. Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3), which had already featured among the day’s highs, is holding onto gains, advancing 4.84% to R$ 1.30. Among other intraday gainers, Enel Distribuição Ceará (COCE5) is up 4.20%, trading at R$ 31.27, while Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) is up 4.04% at R$ 2.06.
On the downside, in addition to Gafisa (GFSA3), Paranapanema (PMAM3) remains among the session’s biggest losers, now down 10.53% at R$ 0.34, after already having appeared in earlier updates among the day’s negative standouts. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) is down 8.97% at R$ 0.71, and CVC (CVCB3) is down 8.20% at R$ 1.12. Raízen (RAIZ4) rounds out the list of the five biggest losers, dropping 6.90% to R$ 0.27.
As a result, this afternoon’s backdrop shows the Ibovespa slightly higher, while the largest swings remain concentrated in lower-priced stocks, with Recrusul (RCSL4) leading on the positive side and Gafisa (GFSA3) on the negative side at this stage of the session.
