Mid-session this Friday on B3, the Ibovespa was posting a slight gain of 0.06%, at 173,937.01 points, while shares of Paranapanema (PMAM3) were up 11.76%, at R$ 0.38, and Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was down 5.88%, quoted at R$ 0.80. Compared to earlier updates in this session, the index trimmed its positive move, while PMAM3 took the top spot among the biggest gainers and ONCO3 remained among the main losers of the day.
Among the biggest intraday gains, in addition to Paranapanema, Americanas (AMER3) was up 6.40%, trading at R$ 3.99, after standing out for much of the session. DASA (DASA3), which in a previous update showed a 6.64% gain, was now up 5.54%, at R$ 2.86. Anima Educação (ANIM3) was up 5.21%, at R$ 2.22, while Recrusul (RCSL4) gained 4.44%, at R$ 0.47.
On the negative side, Oncoclínicas remained under pressure, down 5.88%, at R$ 0.80, widening the drop compared to early afternoon, when it was down 4.7%. Metisa (MTSA4) fell 4.51%, to R$ 45.30, and Light (LIGT3) slipped 4.40%, quoted at R$ 3.26. Among the other decliners on the biggest losers list, Blau Farmacêutica (BLAU3) lost 3.93%, at R$ 9.30, while Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) dropped 3.85%, trading at R$ 1.25.
Over the course of this session, the standouts among the most volatile stocks changed positions compared to earlier reports: Gafisa (GFSA3), which led the gains in a previous update, left the top of the ranking, while PMAM3 took the lead. AMER3 and DASA3 remain among the stocks with the biggest swings of the day, now with more moderate gains compared to the percentages seen earlier.
