On Wednesday afternoon, the Ibovespa was down 0.37%, at 176,009.72 points, in line with the negative move seen earlier in the session. Among the session’s highlights, Paranapanema (PMAM3) was up 14.29%, quoted at R$ 0.32, while Anima Educação (ANIM3) was down 32.06%, at R$ 1.95, standing as the biggest loser of the day so far.
Among the top gainers, in addition to PMAM3, Enjoei (ENJU3) advanced 10.71%, trading at R$ 0.93, extending gains after featuring among the positive highlights in earlier intraday updates. Grupo Pão de Açúcar - GPA (PCAR3) was up 3.67%, at R$ 2.54, while TOTVS (TOTS3) rose 3.55%, to R$ 29.74. Gerdau (GGBR4) rounded out the list of the five biggest gainers, with an increase of 3.39%, at R$ 24.11.
On the losing side, ANIM3 extended the negative move seen throughout the day, falling 32.06%, to R$ 1.95. Camil Alimentos (CAML3) dropped 16.33%, quoted at R$ 4.51, also among the stocks with the largest losses of the session. Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 10.71%, to R$ 0.50, while Méliuz (CASH3) declined 7.14%, to R$ 4.55. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) retreated 6.25%, trading at R$ 0.90.
Compared with the latest intraday updates, the Ibovespa trimmed its losses, from earlier moves around -0.62% and -0.67% to the current -0.37%. PMAM3, which had climbed more than 30% at certain points earlier in the session, is now up 14.29%. Meanwhile, ENJU3, which had risen 11.90% in a previous update, is still performing positively, with a 10.71% gain at this point in the afternoon.
