On July 10, 2026, BlackRock, managing funds on behalf of some of its clients, came to hold an ownership stake of approximately 9.996% in the common shares of B3 (B3SA3). The position is made up of 500,308,957 common shares and 1,379,748 American Depositary Receipts (ADRs, receipts representing shares traded abroad), representing 4,139,244 common shares, totaling 504,448,201 common shares, in addition to 26,350,063 derivative financial instruments referenced to common shares with cash-settlement only, equivalent to about 0.522% of the total common shares issued by the company.

According to the correspondence sent to B3, BlackRock states that the purpose of this stake is strictly for investment, with no intention of changing B3’s shareholding control or management structure. The asset manager also declares that it has not entered into contracts or agreements that regulate the exercise of voting rights or the purchase and sale of securities issued by the company.
