Mid-session this Monday, the Ibovespa was down 0.77% at 176,493.16 points, a move that contrasts with the gains seen at the opening earlier in the day. Among individual highlights, Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) was up 6.61% at R$ 1.29, while Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) led the losses, down 12.00% at R$ 0.66.

On the gainers’ side, in addition to AZEV4, shares of CSN Mineração (CMIN3) were up 4.59%, trading at R$ 5.47, slowing from the 5.54% advance seen in an earlier update this session. Paranapanema (PMAM3) was among the winners, up 4.35% at R$ 0.24, while HBR Realty (HBRE3) rose 4.35% to R$ 2.40. Espaçolaser (ESPA3) rounded out the list of the five biggest gainers at the moment, up 3.19% at R$ 8.41.

On the losing side, after ONCO3, Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 6.35% to R$ 0.59, deepening the losses compared with the drop seen earlier in the week. In the real estate sector, Mitre Realty (MTRE3) declined 5.71%, quoted at R$ 3.14. In the financial segment, Banco Mercantil (BMEB4) was down 4.86% at R$ 56.62, while Banco ABC Brasil (ABCB4) dropped 4.05% to R$ 23.93.

Thus, compared with the latest updates this session, CMIN3 is still posting gains, albeit at a slower pace, and ONCO3 is extending its earlier losses. The Ibovespa, which had shown a slight gain at the open and then a mild drop in a previous update, is deepening its negative move over the course of the session, while the individual highlights remain concentrated in small caps and lower-liquidity stocks on B3.
