These API Terms of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Visno Data API, the programmatic access product for B3 (Brazilian Stock Exchange) financial data offered by Visno Invest. By creating an API key or making any request to the Visno Data API, you agree to these Terms, in addition to the site's general Terms of use and Privacy policy. In case of a specific conflict regarding API usage, this document prevails.
1. Definitions
"API" or "Visno Data API" is the set of endpoints available under /api/v1 and documented
at visnoinvest.com/data-api/docs. "Data" means the information returned by the API (quotes,
fundamental indicators, dividends, financial statements, FII data, and macroeconomic indicators). "API
key" is the personal, non-transferable credential used to authenticate requests. "User" is the
individual or legal entity that owns the account associated with the API key.
2. License to use
We grant the User a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Data, within the limits of the contracted plan (daily request quota and unlocked features), for personal use, internal use, or incorporation into the User's own applications, analyses, spreadsheets, algorithms, or systems — including commercial or professional use — provided the restriction in clause 3 is respected.
3. Prohibition on redistribution, resale, and public use of the Data
Distribution, redistribution, transfer, transmission, retransmission, licensing, sublicensing, renting, lending, sale, resale, recirculation, reformatting, public disclosure, or republication, in whole or in part, of the Data obtained via the Visno Data API to third parties who do not hold their own valid API key is expressly prohibited, except with prior written authorization from Visno Invest.
In particular, it is prohibited to use the Data — raw or with minimal transformation that does not change its informational nature — to feed, directly or indirectly, any product, application, website, dashboard, feed, chatbot, plugin, or service that makes it available, free or paid, to third parties, even if presented with a different layout, calculations, or combinations than ours.
Analyses, reports, charts, and content that cite specific figures derived from the Data (e.g., "stock X's P/E ratio is Y, according to Visno Data API data") in text, social media, or publications do not constitute redistribution for the purposes of these Terms, provided they do not, in practice, constitute a systematic and ongoing republication of series or datasets equivalent to those offered by the API.
4. API keys and security
The API key is personal and non-transferable. The User is responsible for keeping it confidential, for any use made with it (including by third parties who obtain it due to the User's negligence), and for revoking it immediately in case of suspected leakage, creating a new one through the API key management area of their account. We are not liable for losses arising from the User's own sharing or improper exposure of an API key.
Attempting to circumvent the rate limits of the contracted plan — whether through multiple accounts, multiple API keys operated as one, or any other means of bypassing the daily quota — is prohibited.
5. Data accuracy and limitation of liability
The Data is obtained from public sources — B3, CVM (Brazilian Securities Commission), and companies' Investor Relations — and from our own processing on top of them. We make reasonable efforts to keep the Data accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or absence of errors. The Data may contain delays, processing failures, inconsistencies, or omissions, including those arising from errors in the original sources.
The User is solely responsible for validating the Data before using it in financial decisions, automated systems, trading algorithms, or any application where an error could cause harm. We recommend always double-checking against primary sources (B3, CVM, company Investor Relations) before making significant decisions. We are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential damages, lost profits, or data loss arising from the use or inability to use the Visno Data API, including those caused by inaccuracy of the Data.
6. Not investment advice
The Data is provided for informational purposes only. Under no circumstances does the Visno Data API constitute a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. Investment decisions made based on the Data are the User's sole responsibility.
7. Availability and changes to the service
We make efforts to keep the API available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Endpoints, fields, plan limits, and pricing may change with reasonable notice. Endpoint discontinuations will be communicated in advance whenever possible.
8. Suspension and cancellation
We may suspend or revoke API keys, without prior notice, in case of violation of these Terms — in particular clause 3 (redistribution) — usage that compromises the stability of the service, or suspected payment fraud. Canceling the Pro subscription does not generate a pro-rated refund of the period already paid, except as otherwise required by law.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice in the API key management area. Continued use of the API after a change implies agreement with the new Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute related to them will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of Brazilian courts.
