In the first trades of Tuesday morning, the Ibovespa was up 1.34% at 207,822.04 points, extending the upward move seen at the market open. Among individual highlights, Americanas (AMER3) was up 18.59% at R$ 7.08, while Wiz Co (WIZC3) was down 25.96%, trading at R$ 6.73.
On the positive side of the session, AMER3 held the top spot among the day’s biggest gainers, quoted at R$ 7.08, up 18.59%. Next, Lojas Quero-Quero (LJQQ3) rose 9.43% to R$ 2.90, and Armac (ARML3) advanced 8.72% to R$ 6.98. Movida (MOVI3) was up 8.51% at R$ 19.26, while Raízen (RAIZ4) gained 7.69% to R$ 0.42, rounding out the group of the five biggest advances so far.
On the losing side, WIZC3 led the session’s declines, falling 25.96% to R$ 6.73. Anima Educação (ANIM3) dropped 6.54%, trading at R$ 5.29, followed by Oncoclínicas (ONCO3), which lost 4.76% to R$ 1.00. Dotz (DOTZ3) fell 3.42% to R$ 12.98, while Cambuci (CAMB3) slipped 1.53% to R$ 8.37, making up the list of the five biggest intraday losses.
Compared with the start of the session, when the Ibovespa was up 1.30% and highlights included MATD3 up 2.17% and VITT3 slightly lower, the index slightly extended its positive move to 1.34%. The composition of the biggest movers also changed, with AMER3 and WIZC3 taking over as the day’s biggest gainer and biggest decliner so far.
