On Monday, October 19, 2026, Automob Participações (AMOB3) released preliminary numbers for the third quarter of 2026 (3Q26). Consolidated gross revenue reached R$ 4.014 billion, up 9.0% year over year, while transacted revenue, which considers the full invoiced amount of all vehicles sold, advanced 10.8% on the same basis.
In the light vehicles segment, retail volume of new vehicles totaled 16,541 units in 3Q26, an increase of 16.8% versus 3Q25, supported by a greater variety of models and sector programs such as Carro Sustentável and Move Brasil. New light vehicles sold per store reached 42 vehicles per month, a 22.2% year-over-year increase and above the assumption of 37 vehicles per month that underpins the projection for 2027.
Among pre-owned light vehicles, volume was 9,215 units, growth of 15.3% in the annual comparison, with 24 vehicles sold per store per month, up 20.6% y/y. The changes in volume and sales per store exclude the Seu Carro operation in 3Q25, which was discontinued in April 2026. The ratio of used to new vehicles stood at 0.6x, below the assumption of 1.0x used in the projection for 2027.
In the heavy vehicles segment, the volume of trucks and buses reached 2,423 units in 3Q26, up 35.1% compared to the same quarter of 2025, driven by higher direct sales and the impact of the Move Brasil program in July. In Agro and Machinery, volume fell 25.6% y/y to 453 units, a movement the company says is in line with the market context, while it focuses on on-demand inventory purchases, reducing capital employed and adjusting the operating structure to restore the segment’s profitability.
Net capex was R$ 20.5 million in 3Q26, a drop of 67.5% versus 3Q25, totaling R$ 60 million in the first nine months of 2026 (9M26), also 67.5% below the same period of 2025. According to Automob, the reduction reflects the completion of the store modernization cycle, sustaining growth with higher productivity per point of sale.
