On Friday afternoon, as of 4:45 p.m., the Ibovespa was up 0.39% at 205,111.94 points, in a session marked by the continued sharp swings in Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV3), which was rising 14.68% to R$ 12.50, and by the drop in Gafisa (GFSA3), which was down 10.00% at R$ 0.36.
Among the top gainers in today’s session, in addition to AZEV3 in the lead, Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) stood out, trading at R$ 11.13, up 7.12%. Next, Dotz (DOTZ3) was quoted at R$ 13.44, a gain of 6.75%, while Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was trading at R$ 1.05, up 6.06%. Shares of the Pague Menos drugstore chain (PGMN3) rounded out the group at R$ 5.11, an increase of 4.71%. Compared with earlier readings in this session, AZEV3 extended its gains, while MGLU3 and ONCO3 maintained positive momentum among the day’s biggest gainers.
On the negative side of B3, Gafisa (GFSA3) remained the biggest decliner of the session, with shares at R$ 0.36, down 10.00%. Braskem (BRKM5) was trading at R$ 4.07, a drop of 5.79%, followed by Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3), which was at R$ 2.47, down 5.00%. Viveo (VVEO3) was among the biggest losers, at R$ 0.97, falling 4.90%, while Terra Santa Propriedades Agrícolas (LAND3) was quoted at R$ 10.46, down 4.47%. Compared with the latest readings in this session, GFSA3 remained on the selling side, while HBOR3 and VVEO3 continued to rank among the main negative highlights of the session.
