Klabin (KLBN11) reported this Thursday, October 15, 2026, that it signed amendments to the financial instruments linked to the implementation of the Puma II Project, consisting of a loan with the Inter-American Development Bank Invest (IDB Invest), International Finance Corporation (IFC) and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), the so-called A-Loan, and with commercial banks, the B-Loan. The changes resulted in the extension of maturities from 2032 to 2034 for the A-Loan and from 2029 to 2033 for the B-Loan, in addition to reducing the all-in cost to SOFR + 2.04% per year.
According to the company, the transaction is part of Klabin’s ongoing debt management, aimed at improving its liquidity and debt profile by extending the average term and optimizing the amortization schedule.
