Motiva Infraestrutura de Mobilidade (MOTV3) released, in a notice to the market on Friday, October 9, 2026, consolidated traffic data for September 2026 on the highways and railways under its management. Including all highway assets, total equivalent vehicle volume was 126.1 million in September 2026, compared to 96.4 million in September 2025, representing growth of 30.8% in the period.
Considering only the comparable total for the highways, which excludes the Sorocabana, Paraná and Minas_SP assets, traffic reached 86,576 thousand equivalent vehicles in September 2026, up 1.2% from 85,546 thousand in September 2025. In the year to date from January to September 2026, the comparable total reached 780,573 thousand equivalent vehicles, an increase of 2.6% versus 760,703 thousand in the same period of 2025.
Among the highway concessions, the standouts are RioSP, with a 13.4% increase in traffic in September 2026 versus September 2025, and Paraná, with a 9.8% rise in the same comparison. The company reports that the Free Flow system (automatic tolling without physical plazas) in the São Paulo metropolitan area began operating on December 6, 2025; excluding this effect, traffic growth on RioSP in September 2026 was 4.1%.
The release also notes the start of operations of the Sorocabana concession on March 30, 2025, with the addition of 8 Free Flow gantries in October 2025 and another 9 gantries between February and March 2026. In the case of Paraná, toll collection began on June 28, 2025, with the addition of 2 Free Flow gantries in June 2026. For Minas_SP, the purchase and sale agreement was signed on April 2, 2026, with demand data considered from April 1, 2026.
In the rail segment, the comparable total of passengers carried reached 65,366 thousand in September 2026, a drop of 2.3% compared with 66,924 thousand in September 2025. In the year to date from January to September 2026, the volume of passengers transported in rail operations reached 572,826 thousand, growth of 1.7% versus 563,460 thousand in the same period of 2025. Motiva notes that the traffic figures may undergo minor adjustments over time.
