Eneva (ENEV3) reported this Wednesday, October 7, 2026, that it acquired 6 exploratory blocks in the Parnaíba Basin in the 6th Cycle of ANP’s Permanent Offer, referring to the auction held today. The company acquired a 100% stake in blocks PN-T-49, PN-T-84, PN-T-85, PN-T-86, PN-T-101 and PN-T-102, with a total awarded area of 13,983 km² and a signing bonus of R$ 1.5 million.
According to Eneva, the Minimum Exploration Program (PEM), which defines the minimum investment commitment in exploration, totals 5,630 Work Units to be carried out over 6 years. According to ANP’s schedule, the signing of concession contracts with the winning companies is expected to take place by February 26, 2027.
The new blocks add to the 15,972 km² that the company already holds under concession in the Parnaíba Basin, including exploratory blocks, areas under development and fields declared commercial. Eneva highlights that the acquisition expands its exploration portfolio in a basin where it already operates integrated infrastructure for production, processing and power generation under the Reservoir-to-Wire (R2W) model, in addition to directly selling natural gas.
