Midway through Wednesday’s session, the Ibovespa was down 0.31%, at 205,196.43 points, moving in the opposite direction of Paranapanema (PMAM3) shares, which were up 8.11%, at R$ 0.40, and OranjeBTC (OBTC3), which were down 8.36%, at R$ 7.34, posting the biggest intraday gain and loss, respectively. At the open, the index had recorded a slight 0.03% gain.

Among the top gainers on B3 as of the snapshot time, in addition to Paranapanema, were Jalles Machado (JALL3), up 5.71% at R$ 2.96, and Qualicorp (QUAL3), up 5.35% at R$ 1.97. Next, Viveo (VVEO3) was up 4.71%, trading at R$ 0.89, while Armac (ARML3) rose 4.50%, to R$ 5.57.

On the downside, OranjeBTC remained the main decliner, with OBTC3 falling 8.36%, to R$ 7.34. Right after that, Natura (NATU3) slipped 6.06%, to R$ 7.59, and Méliuz (CASH3) dropped 4.69%, to R$ 5.08. Assaí (ASAI3) shares were trading at R$ 12.21, down 3.33%, while Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional - CSN (CSNA3) fell 3.17%, to R$ 6.10.

Compared with the start of the session, when Portobello (PTBL3) was up 0.86% and Automob (AMOB3) was down 1.34% among the highlights, the intraday picture shifted to larger swings in lower-priced stocks, such as PMAM3 and VVEO3, as well as sharper moves in OBTC3 and NATU3 on the negative side.
