In intraday trading this Friday, the Ibovespa was up 1.12%, at 189,530.83 points, while Gafisa (GFSA3) was leading the session’s gainers, quoted at R$ 0.28 (+16.67%). On the other end, Grupo Pão de Açúcar - GPA (PCAR3) was posting the biggest drop at the moment, at R$ 3.15 (-4.55%). Hapvida (HAPV3), which had already stood out in earlier updates this session, was holding onto gains and appeared among the day’s top performers.
Among the main gainers, besides Gafisa, Hapvida (HAPV3) was trading at R$ 7.65, up 9.76% in intraday. Jalles Machado (JALL3) climbed to R$ 2.65 (+8.16%), followed by JSL (JSLG3), at R$ 8.25, up 7.14%. Anima Educação (ANIM3) rounded out the list of the five biggest gainers, at R$ 3.31, advancing 7.12% versus the previous close.
On the losing side, in addition to GPA (PCAR3) with a 4.55% drop to R$ 3.15, CVC (CVCB3) was at R$ 1.40, down 2.78%. Paranapanema (PMAM3) fell 2.70%, quoted at R$ 0.36, while Braskem (BRKM5) was trading at R$ 3.99, a 2.68% decline. Grupo Mateus (GMAT3) closed out the group of the biggest losers so far, at R$ 4.91, with a 2.58% loss in intraday.
Compared with earlier updates this session, Hapvida (HAPV3) extended its positive move, going from R$ 7.52 to R$ 7.65, while GPA (PCAR3) partially pared the drop seen earlier, when it was falling more than 6%. The Ibovespa, which had been alternating brief upward and downward moves throughout the day, was now showing a 1.12% gain as of 2:35 p.m., with the largest swings concentrated in some names outside the index’s traditional composition.
