João Carlos Correa de Vargas has reached a stake of 8.2094% in the share capital of Paranapanema (PMAM3), which is under court-supervised reorganization, as of September 3, 2026, holding 25,185,970 common shares issued by the company. According to a notice released on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, the 5% ownership threshold was exceeded on August 26, 2026.
Paranapanema reported that it did not receive from the shareholder the communication required under Article 12 of CVM Resolution No. 44/21 and therefore does not have information on the purpose of the acquired stake, the intended amount, or any possible intention to change the company’s control structure or management structure.
The company also stated that it has no additional information at this time and will keep its shareholders and the market informed of any developments related to this matter, in line with applicable legislation.
