Vale (VALE3) reported on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, that there is no new development, corporate decision, or ongoing studies regarding a possible initial public offering (IPO) of shares of its base metals unit, Vale Base Metals (VBM), in line with the clarifications already provided to the market on March 4, 2026.

After further checks with the management of Vale and VBM, the company reiterated that this information remains valid and that there is no additional element requiring disclosure as a material fact, under CVM Resolution No. 44/2021. The company stated that it will continue to promptly disclose any potential acts or material facts related to the matter.
