In Monday morning trading, the Ibovespa was up 0.90% at 177,244.31 points, maintaining its positive trajectory after the B3 open. Among the standout stocks, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was up 32.50% at R$ 0.53, while Recrusul (RCSL4) was down 7.32% at R$ 0.38.
On the gainers’ side, in addition to BHIA3, Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) was up 6.94%, trading at R$ 1.54. Natura (NATU3) gained 6.64% to R$ 9.32 after recent announcements of a CEO change and an expansion of the board of directors, which included new shareholders’ agreements and a waiver of a tender offer (Oferta Pública de Aquisição – OPA) requirement for Advent. Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional (CSNA3) advanced 4.99%, quoted at R$ 5.47, while Gafisa (GFSA3) gained 4.76% to R$ 0.22, in a session ahead of the release of its 2Q26 results next week.
On the losers’ side, after RCSL4, Paranapanema (PMAM3) retreated 6.25% to R$ 0.15. Shares of Triunfo (TPIS3) were down 6.00%, trading at R$ 9.40, and OranjeBTC (OBTC3) fell 4.78% to R$ 6.77. Raízen (RAIZ4) rounded out the list of the five biggest decliners, down 4.35% at R$ 0.22, amid broad moves among lower-priced stocks on B3 in this session.
Compared with the market open, when Vittia (VITT3) was up 1.63% and Azul (AZUL3) was down 0.52%, investors’ focus shifted to stocks with lower liquidity and unit prices, with BHIA3 standing out on the positive side and RCSL4 on the negative. The Ibovespa, which started the day up 1.57%, is now holding a more moderate gain of 0.90%, reflecting intraday adjustments on the Brazilian stock exchange.
