Midway through Wednesday’s session, the Ibovespa was up 0.36% at 175,216.94 points, maintaining the positive momentum seen earlier on B3. Among the highlights, Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was up 13.14%, trading at R$ 1.98, while Recrusul (RCSL4) fell 20.00%, quoted at R$ 0.60, ranking as the biggest partial drop of the session.
Compared with the latest updates in this session, ONCO3 extended its gains and remained the day’s top performer, while Paranapanema (PMAM3), which had already appeared among the standouts, stayed in positive territory. At 12:25 p.m., PMAM3 was trading at R$ 0.14, up 7.69%. Taurus (TASA4) was also among the biggest gainers, quoted at R$ 5.56, a 6.92% intraday increase.
Among the other gainers, Gafisa (GFSA3) was at R$ 0.22, up 4.76%, and Jalles Machado (JALL3) was trading at R$ 2.54, a 4.53% increase versus the previous close. As of the time of the snapshot, these five stocks made up the group of the biggest positive moves on B3 in this session.
On the downside, in addition to RCSL4 with a 20.00% drop, Braskem (BRKM5) was down 7.54% at R$ 3.80, following recent news about an out-of-court reorganization filing involving unsecured debt (debt without specific real collateral) of around US$ 10.9 billion. Portobello (PTBL3) was down 6.00%, quoted at R$ 1.41, while OranjeBTC (OBTC3) fell 5.35% to R$ 7.07, after announcing the buyback of 80 thousand common shares and the maintenance of 3,950 BTC in reserves in recent days.
Rounding out the list of the five biggest partial losses, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) was trading at R$ 0.37, down 5.13% intraday. As a result, early afternoon trading on B3 remained marked by the Ibovespa in positive territory and strong dispersion among individual stock moves, with ONCO3 and RCSL4 occupying, respectively, the extremes of the day’s biggest gain and biggest loss so far.
