Non-Cyclical Consumption was the best-performing sector on B3 in the week of August 17–21, 2026, with an average change of +8.4%. Within the group, MBRF3 stood out with a gain of +21.4%, while BOBR4 posted the sector’s worst performance, at -4.1%. At the opposite end of the sector table, Communications was the only segment to decline during the week, with an average drop of -0.1%, with OIBR3 as the best stock (+11.1%) and TELB4 as the worst (-5.1%).
Overall, 11 of the 12 sectors analyzed ended the week higher, with only 1 in negative territory. The survey considers the average variation weighted by trading volume in each sector, providing a consolidated view of sector performance on B3 over the period.
