On Friday, July 24, 2026, Petrobras (PETR4) reported that its Board of Directors has approved the election of William Vella Nozaki as interim executive director of Energy Transition and Sustainability, with the start of his term on August 1, 2026.

According to the company, William Vella Nozaki has already been serving since August 2024 as executive manager of Integrated Energy Transition Management, a role linked to the same division, and he has been a member of Transpetro’s Board of Directors since December 2023.
