On Thursday afternoon, with trading still underway on B3, the Ibovespa was down 1.31% at 173,697.74 points, while Anima Educação (ANIM3) was up 8.81% at R$ 2.10, and Even (EVEN3) was among the biggest losers of the day, down 6.48% and trading at R$ 5.05.
On the positive side, in addition to ANIM3 leading the gains, Recrusul (RCSL4) was up 6.98%, trading at R$ 0.46. Ambipar (AMBP3) advanced 6.67% to R$ 0.16, while CSN Mineração (CMIN3) gained 4.01%, at R$ 5.45. Estapar (ALPK3) also stood out on the upside, with a gain of 3.74% at R$ 4.16.
Among the biggest losers, after EVEN3, Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 6.12% to R$ 0.46, remaining among the sharpest declines of the session. Méliuz (CASH3) retreated 5.43%, quoted at R$ 4.35, while Banco Pine’s preferred shares (PINE4) dropped 5.00% to R$ 11.21. Moura Dubeux (MDNE3) rounded out the list of the five biggest declines, down 4.87% and trading at R$ 25.38.
Over the course of the afternoon, ANIM3 gave back part of the gain seen earlier in the session but remained the top performer of the day, while GFSA3 stayed among the biggest losers, in a scenario of a falling Ibovespa and moves concentrated in small caps (lower-capitalization stocks) at the extremes of performance.
