In the mid-afternoon of this session, the Ibovespa was down 0.67%, at 175,486.30 points, with opposite highlights among stocks. Among the biggest moves, Enjoei (ENJU3) was up 11.90%, trading at R$ 0.94, while Anima Educação (ANIM3) was down 30.31%, at R$ 2.00.
On the positive side of the session, in addition to ENJU3, Paranapanema (PMAM3) was among the top gainers, advancing 10.71%, to R$ 0.31. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was up 3.13%, trading at R$ 0.99, and Enel Distribuição Ceará (COCE5) had gained 2.67%, at R$ 30.80. Gerdau (GGBR4) rounded out the list of the five biggest gainers, with a 2.62% gain, at R$ 23.93.
Compared with the latest updates in this session, PMAM3 trimmed its move from earlier peaks but still remained among the day’s main gainers. ANIM3, which had already appeared in previous reports as one of the biggest losers, maintained a steep drop, now at 30.31%.
Among the biggest decliners, besides ANIM3, Camil Alimentos (CAML3) fell 15.58%, quoted at R$ 4.55. Gafisa (GFSA3) was down 8.93%, at R$ 0.51, while Méliuz (CASH3) dropped 7.14%, also to R$ 4.55. Braskem (BRKM5) completed the group of the five biggest losers at the moment, down 6.15%, at R$ 6.41.
As a result, the session continued to be marked by sharp moves in small caps and lower-priced stocks, both among the top gainers and the biggest losers, while the Ibovespa remained in negative territory in the mid-afternoon.
