At the close of Monday's trading session, the Ibovespa ended down 1.20%, at 175,739.08 points, while Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) posted a gain of 24.78%, at R$ 1.41, and Gafisa (GFSA3) finished the day down 7.94%, quoted at R$ 0.58.
Among the top gainers on B3, Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) secured the biggest advance of the session, climbing to R$ 1.41, up 24.78%. Azevedo & Travassos (AZEV4) also stood out on the positive side, closing at R$ 1.30, up 7.44%, after showing significant intraday swings. Helbor Empreendimentos (HBOR3) rose 6.93%, ending at R$ 2.16.
Rounding out the group of the five biggest gainers, Paranapanema (PMAM3) closed at R$ 0.24, up 4.35%, while CSN Mineração (CMIN3) ended the session at R$ 5.45, up 4.21%. These stocks were among the main positive movers on the exchange in this session, on a day of losses for the Ibovespa index.
On the negative side, Gafisa (GFSA3) recorded the biggest drop of the day, falling 7.94% and closing at R$ 0.58. Americanas (AMER3) was also among the steepest losers, ending the session at R$ 3.78, down 7.80%. In the construction and real estate development sector, Mitre Realty (MTRE3) fell 6.61%, finishing the day at R$ 3.11.
Among the other notable decliners, Casas Bahia (BHIA3) closed at R$ 1.04, down 6.31%, while Raízen (RAIZ4) ended the session at R$ 0.33, down 5.71%. Thus, the session ended with the Ibovespa in negative territory and sharp moves both among the top gainers and the biggest losers on B3.
