On Wednesday afternoon, the Ibovespa was down 0.29% at 176,154.32 points, maintaining the bearish bias seen earlier on B3. Among the main moves of the session, Paranapanema (PMAM3) remained the top gainer, quoted at R$ 0.32, up 14.29%, while Anima Educação (ANIM3) stayed at the negative end, at R$ 1.95, down 32.06%.
Among the biggest gainers of the day, in addition to PMAM3, Enjoei (ENJU3) was up 9.52%, trading at R$ 0.92, after showing similar moves in earlier headlines in the session. Grupo Pão de Açúcar - GPA (PCAR3) was at R$ 2.61, up 6.53%, and Light (LIGT3) advanced 4.76%, quoted at R$ 3.30. Among the most liquid stocks, Gerdau (GGBR4) rose 4.46%, at R$ 24.36.
On the losing side, Anima Educação (ANIM3) extended the decline already seen in previous reports this session, falling 32.06% to R$ 1.95. Camil Alimentos (CAML3) also ranked among the biggest losers, quoted at R$ 4.56, down 15.40%. Gafisa (GFSA3) was trading at R$ 0.49, down 12.50%, while Méliuz (CASH3) dropped 6.73% to R$ 4.57. Raízen (RAIZ4) rounded out the group of the five biggest declines, at R$ 0.29, down 6.45%.
With these moves, the session continued to be marked by significant swings in small caps (lower market-cap stocks), such as PMAM3, ENJU3, ANIM3 and GFSA3, while the Ibovespa, the main B3 index, remained with a mild intraday drop of 0.29%.
