Mid-session this Tuesday, the Ibovespa was up 0.49%, at 176,605.68 points, maintaining the positive bias seen earlier. Among the highlights, Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) climbed 4.26% to R$ 1.47, while Gafisa (GFSA3) fell 6.90% to R$ 0.54, standing on opposite ends of the trading day.
On the gainers’ side, in addition to AZTE3, Brava Energia (BRAV3) was up 3.72%, quoted at R$ 19.50. CSU Digital (CSUD3) rose 3.21% to R$ 14.49, and Vittia (VITT3) gained 3.04% to R$ 3.39. Oncoclínicas (ONCO3) was also trading in positive territory, up 2.63% at R$ 0.78.
Among the biggest losers, after already appearing among the negative highlights in a previous update, GFSA3 deepened its losses and remained the largest intraday drop, trading at R$ 0.54, down 6.90%. Grupo Pão de Açúcar - GPA (PCAR3) fell 4.25% to R$ 2.48, while Braskem (BRKM5) retreated 4.18% to R$ 6.65. Paranapanema (PMAM3) traded at R$ 0.23, down 4.17%, the same percentage drop as Ultrapar (UGPA3), which stood at R$ 29.64.
As a result, the Ibovespa remained higher on B3 halfway through the session, while small-cap stocks populated the lists of biggest gains and losses, with Azevedo & Travassos Energia (AZTE3) as the top gainer and Gafisa (GFSA3) as the top decliner in the intraday report at 12:18 p.m.
